Description

The sunflower and soybean crushing plant in Saforcada is located on a 96-hectare site, and with 60,000 square meters of covered area, the plant has a milling capacity of 2,100 tons of sunflower per day and the same capacity for soybeans. In total, about 500 thousand tons of grain are processed annually. In addition, the plant works entirely using sunflower husk as fuel. From there come products based on sunflower with added value such as refined oil -both for home and industrial use-, sunflower lecithin -used in the production of sweets and cosmetics, among other products- and sunflower pellets Hi-Pro 42, a nutritional supplement with a high protein content for cattle.
